My girlfriend and I ordered sushi take out from these guys just last night. Oh man, it was great.
We call them up, man on the other side is nice and concise. I order, say that's it, he says it'll be 15-20 mins. We head out a little later then should, but get there and our order's ready and waiting.
Decor was, oddly, one of the more appreciated sushi place decorum I'm seen. It wasn't much to look at, bags of rice and sushi supplies piled high in the front, with 4-5 cafe chairs aimed outside to the streets of Corydon. Fridge cabinet full of sushi ginger and the like. But something about it seemed nice. I may not want to eat in there, but it was like I was at some depot of sushi, like a landing dock where sushi came in.
Up a small set of stairs, K-Pop playing on the radio, three chefs with 'Korea' headbands wrapped around their heads up front making the food. I have to say, it seemed like one of the more dedicated sushi joints I've seen.
Small and quaint, and you can't beat three good sets of sushi (Bakudan, California, and Dynamite rolls) for 2.99. I'll definitely be revisiting this place when I don't want to pay much for good food. -

Great sushi, just remember it's pick-up and not "Dine-in!" They have a few sitting places, but don't expect table service. Friendly owners, you have to try it.

Not the greatest sushi money can buy, but quality reflects price. You can easily order much more from here for way less than anywhere else. Their menu is limited, but I expect that's how they keep their prices so low. Staff is always friendly, and pick-up orders are generally ready in about 20 minutes to a half hour. The size of their rolls is on par with other sushi places, sometimes slightly larger. The nigiri is two pieces per order, and it costs less than the one-piece orders from other restaurants. That being said, there is a lot less to choose from, and the quality is not as high as it could be. This is a good place to pick up some cheap sushi quickly. Don't expect your world to be rocked though.

I work very close to Wako which makes it extremely convenient to order from them. If I call in my order they have it ready to go within 20 minutes. I'm not sure I can really tell the difference between "good" sushi and "bad" sushi, but they are extremely inexpensive, always kind, quick, convenient and consistent. Check it out!

Looking back on my review, I guess it's been 3 years since I've had take out sushi from here. on a recent visit where I ordered a bento box meal with salad to go - price was good as it was under $9 and I got the salad, bakudon + 2 pcs tuna nigiri and 2 pcs salmon nigiri. The sushi rice on the bakudon cold and sticky. The nigiri weren't fresh but it wasn't off....but somehow I wasn't as eager to eat it. Nothing was overtly off putting but it was definitely a different experience than my visit 3 years ago. Would I come back? Probably not considering how many sushi places there are to choose from.
